UntrueUnreal
The great Anish Kapoor exhibition at Palazzo Strozzi 7 October 2023 – 4 February 2024 In the splendid setting of the Strozzi family’s Renaissance palace in Florence, a unique event has come to life, the first exhibition dedicated to one of the major artists of contemporary art in the world, Anish Kapoor. Kapoor’s works arouse amazement and anxiety, questioning every certainty. In the rational geometries of Palazzo Strozzi, the artist invites us to lose and rediscover ourselves, to explore a world whose boundaries between true and false dissolve, questioning ourselves on what is Untrue or Ureal. “I have always been attracted by an idea of fear, by a sensation of…

The rest of the Val d’Orcia
The Val d’Orcia rests in the winter months. The fields breathe, the country roads free from tourists regain their identity, as well as the splendid towns, the small villages perched around the valley. It is the season with the most beautiful colors, a palette of ocher, brown, yellow, the turquoise of the sky. And it is certainly one of the best moments to visit Monticchiello and its surroundings, in the quiet and tranquility to take a bath in one of the many spas, an e-bike ride without having to book in advance, walks in the most beautiful paths of the Val d’Orcia without meeting anyone, only the splendid nature. …

Our history
The apartment in Monticchiello Casa Bonari was born in the late 1970s, starting with the purchase of a large uncultivated land. There was nothing where the structure now stands, only a breathtaking view surrounding so many dreams. Our grandparents Gino and Elsa and our parents Albo and Vanna started building the house with a handful of good intentions and expectations. So much work and commitment led to the birth of what you see now. Father and grandfather created the beautiful garden themselves, the olive grove, which is still cared for with great passion. VISIT THE EXTERIORS Unfortunately, the grandparents are no longer there and for this reason we nephews, with…

Reaching for the stars
Palazzo Strozzi a Firenze. 04 Mars – 18 June 2023 A journey that begins in the splendid courtyard of Palazzo Strozzi with the monumental first work GoNogo, by the Japanese artist Goshka Macuga, and continues in the Renaissance rooms of the palace built by Benedetto da Maiano in 1489. The artists on display are among the most representative voices of the international contemporary art: Cattelan, Hirst, Sherman, Lucas, Favaretto and many others. A perfect marriage between ancient art and modern installations, visionary, questionable, provocative, which will not be able to leave you without the need to reflect on the concept of the Art of the new millennium. We’ve been there!…
